Nicknamed “The Queen of the Alps,” the Rouget Waterfall is one of the most spectacular waterfalls in the Giffre Valley. Consisting of two drops, it plunges more than 80 meters, offering an impressive sight in every season.
Easily accessible by car from spring through fall, it is located just 6 km from the village, beyond the hamlet of Salvagny. In winter, since the road is closed past Salvagny, access is on foot or by snowshoes.
The Rouget Waterfall is also the starting point for several hikes, allowing visitors to explore the valley’s magnificent landscapes and the surrounding mountains.
